With over 75 years of punch bending and register experience, NELA is the unequivocal leader in plate handling expertise. Over the past ten years, NELA has pioneered industry leading Project Management services designed specifically to enhance and ease the transition for any printer moving to an inline or automatic plate handling system.

Each installation includes preparatory sales visits where information covering all facets of a project is gathered. With this information NELA's engineers pre-design the system to include detailed room layouts, plate prints, register audit and consulting and access to NELA's CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) to verify existing and future bend configurations will match those specified by press manufacturers.

Each engineer-designed layout includes detailed information on air, power and equipment placement. For multiple phase installations, deeper discussion of project specifics is enhanced by a Gantt chart. Often a pre-site installation visit is included with the NELA Project Management service. This visit is a chance for your team: (Management, IT, Press Operators, Pre-Press, and Maintenance Engineers) to discuss all points of your project.
