Page Tracking
The printing plates are identified with a barcode scanner when moving into the bender. After the punching & bending a file is created for each plate in a common network directory. This file contains the information where the plates needs to be transported to and what criteria they need to be sorted by.

Plate Pick & Place
This device picks the plate up with suction cups, rotates it to the required position, and moves it left or right with the linear actuator. The plate is then placed on the conveyor belts for further distribution.

Multi-Level Plate Distribution Unit:
The plate distribution unit enables the fast distribution of plates to the lower or upper stacker bins of the unit. Barcode reader and Plate Sorting Software puts the plate to the exact stacker position chosen by the operator.

The NELA Vertical Plate Cart is a perfect solution for vertically storing and protecting your valuable plates. Capable of holding up to 24 plates, this plate cart is a great addition to your pre-press room. Simply take the punched and bent plates out of the bender and slide them into the plate cart - plates are protected from damage during transportation to the press or wherever needed.

The NELA Horizontal Plate Cart is the perfect solution for manually or automatically cart loading your punched & bent plates. Horizontal storage ensures no contact with the image area of your plates. This guarantees scratch-free plates every time upon delivery at press. Coming out of the bender, the barcode reader indicates that the plate will not be stacked on the left or right stacker, but will be transported onto a plate dsitrubution unit which automatically indexes the plates into the cart. The distrubtuion unit fills one empty slot after another. The operator can then unlock the cart from the inline-bender unit and transport the plates without damage to the press.
